Vic (The Sicilian) and Jan Wilson-MacCormack - 19th November 2011 - First of all, thanks as always for a most enjoyable evening. The very personal welcome, the attentive but not intrusive service from pleasant staff; the excellent food in terms of both quality and value for money; and the feeling of belonging that stems from Ivan's and Maddy's remembering our favourite things! Patrick Everett & Clare Barrett - 30th July 2011 - Hi Ivan,  We are going out for an Italian meal tonight here in Wellington, NZ and it reminded us of how we wish we had an amici here. Alan Salton - 7th June 2011 - Our stumbling upon Amici's was a fantastic find, we visited Wed 28th April 2011.The welcome, and the standard of service we received was second only, to the quality and quantity of the food we sampled. Many thanks for a truly fine dining experience, with a great selection of wines, not to mention the cocktail experience, One is never enough, or perhaps thats just the Scotsman talking. Not just attentive service but always great food and a bustling, sociable atmosphere which makes you feel a million miles away from Spalding. Kevin Fisher - 24th February 2011 -An impromptu lunch in Spalding found us taking a table following a warm welcome at the previously unknown to us, Amici restaurant. The service and attention to detail made us feel extremely welcome and we were pleasantly surprised with the busy lunchtime atmosphere. The food was incredibly delicious.

It was the first time my friends had been there. We had a really lovely time which was helped along by the warm welcome from all of the staff, the quality of the food and the attentive service.

I am delighted to say that ALL the complimentary views are highly accurate & I have no criticisms whatsover!! We had an excellent evening which I cant wait to repeat. Please give my compliments to the Chefs as they provided a superb meal & Ivan & the girls made sure everyone felt special at front of house. Definitely a place I will now recommend to everyone.

Mary Collins - 19th June 2010 - My visit on Saturday 19th June in a party of 5 was my 1st, and I certainly hope it won't be my last (although as I live in Surrey it's just that bit too far to drive every time we're eating out). The food and wine were delicious, the service was excellent, and the special birthday puddings (+ sparklers + complementary glasses of fizz) were a lovely touch (albeit a bit embarrassing for the 2 "birthday girls", my Mum and I!). Melanie Biggadike - 2nd June 2010 - Thank you, thank you, thank you! I am no stranger to Amici's so when it came to picking a restaurant to celebrate my first born sons 18th, there was simply no contest. It began at lunchtime when I was bringing the cake and balloons in the foul rain and Maddie was at the door to help me immediately. She is without doubt the most thorough and considerate waitress I have ever come across. She knows just how to make you feel welcome and I have no idea how she remembers everyones favourite dishes from previous visits. The evening was faultless, the table had been dressed beautifully, the food was as always DELICIOUS and there were nothing but compliments from my party of 19. Thank you also for the fantastic way the cake was presented with sparklers and complimentary choccie sauce and gorgeous icing stars. It was so special and to finish the evening off some complimentary Asti spumante for the toast. You made a special night extra special and I can' t thank you enough. Ivan and his team are the best bar none!

Phil & Jane Darley - 23rd March 2010 - Amici is our favourite restaurant in South Holland. We love the attention to detail from the moment we walk in. The attention given by Ivan and Maddie is just at the right level without being intrusive. The menu is extensive and comprehensively caters for every taste. The beer is cool and the coffee is hot. Brilliant. Having now been to Amici's on numerous occasions we have never had a fault with the ambience, drinks, food or service, unlike some other local hostelries. We wish you, our friends at Amici continued success.

Fausto Piazzani - 5th March 2010 - As a British-based Italian I can say without hesitation that Amici is the best restaurant in Spalding and the food served is second to none. The name is most appropriate given the friendly atmosphere the customers can enjoy. Ivan and Beppe are very welcoming and the waitresses charming young ladies. A few days ago I was asked into their spotless kitchen, a one-off experience I 'll never forget. My wife and I have decided to become patrons of such a fabulous place to dine.

Gavin - 25th February 2010 - This is by far the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to. The food is simply stunning and so fresh aswell, even the draught lager is crisp and clean. The service is very proffesional and the atmosphere is brilliant. I would reccomend this place to anyone.

Melanie Biggadike - 18th February 2010 - Amici is my favourite restaurant, the food is absolutely delicious and the service is second to none. I just love the atmosphere. You are made to feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door and nothing is too much trouble. From the fresh homemade bread baked in house every morning to the staff always remembering your favourite dishes and making recommendations based on your previous choices, you couldn't want more. We love to go at lunchtime where you can get a pizza or pasta with a side dish and a drink for less than £10! Can't wait for next time.

Alexia Green - 9th February 2010 - Thanks again for a great evening on Friday. The staff enjoyed the food very much. The decor was pleasent and tastfully done. The tables were clean and well laid out.
Due to the number of customers in on Friday night there was a lack of space and it was noisy, however I would certainly recommend the resturant to family and friends.

My brother was amazed at the different meals available, he said it was the best Italian he`d ever visited and he eats out a lot (cos they can`t cook!). Jennie French - 3rd February 2010 - I want to say a very big thank you to all the staff for making Peter's birthday celebration something special. Our family travelled down from Leeds and Manchester, in the awfull weather, but knowing we were having a meal at Amici was something they could look forward to, as well as seeing "pops " of course and you didn't let us down Ivan. As always the food was superb and the staff made us feel extra special, we all had a wonderfull evening.

Nick Kendrick - 4th January 2009 - What can I say that has not already been said by so many before me.
As one of your loyal customers I see no other reason to visit any other restaurant in the area - great food (even if I only have the same starter, main course and dessert every time I come - they don't even have to give me a menu now), great service, friendship and personal attention.
Always recommend to friends and family and looking forward to the Friends of St John School bash on the 15th Jan. I am sure we will be well looked after.
