Amici is our favourite restaurant in South Holland. We love the attention to detail from the moment we walk in. The attention given by Ivan and Maddie is just at the right level without being intrusive. The menu is extensive and comprehensively caters for every taste. The beer is cool and the coffee is hot. Brilliant. Having now been to Amici's on numerous occasions we have never had a fault with the ambience, drinks, food or service, unlike some other local hostelries. We wish you, our friends at Amici continued success.

As a British-based Italian I can say without hesitation that Amici is the best restaurant in Spalding and the food served is second to none. The name is most appropriate given the friendly atmosphere the customers can enjoy. Ivan and Beppe are very welcoming and the waitresses charming young ladies. A few days ago I was asked into their spotless kitchen, a one-off experience I 'll never forget. My wife and I have decided to become patrons of such a fabulous place to dine.

This is by far the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to. The food is simply stunning and so fresh aswell, even the draught lager is crisp and clean. The service is very proffesional and the atmosphere is brilliant. I would reccomend this place to anyone.

Amici is my favourite restaurant, the food is absolutely delicious and the service is second to none. I just love the atmosphere. You are made to feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door and nothing is too much trouble. From the fresh homemade bread baked in house every morning to the staff always remembering your favourite dishes and making recommendations based on your previous choices, you couldn't want more. We love to go at lunchtime where you can get a pizza or pasta with a side dish and a drink for less than £10! Can't wait for next time.

Thanks again for a great evening on Friday. The staff enjoyed the food very much. The decor was pleasent and tastfully done. The tables were clean and well laid out.
Due to the number of customers in on Friday night there was a lack of space and it was noisy, however I would certainly recommend the resturant to family and friends.

Hi, what can I say, I took my brother and sister-in-law to Amici last tuesday, FANTASTIC! My brother was amazed at the different meals available, he said it was the best Italian he`d ever visited and he eats out a lot (cos they can`t cook!). I want to say a very big thank you to all the staff for making Peter's birthday celebration something special. Our family travelled down from Leeds and Manchester, in the awfull weather, but knowing we were having a meal at Amici was something they could look forward to, as well as seeing "pops " of course and you didn't let us down Ivan. As always the food was superb and the staff made us feel extra special, we all had a wonderfull evening.

What can I say that has not already been said by so many before me.
As one of your loyal customers I see no other reason to visit any other restaurant in the area - great food (even if I only have the same starter, main course and dessert every time I come - they don't even have to give me a menu now), great service, friendship and personal attention.
Always recommend to friends and family and looking forward to the Friends of St John School bash on the 15th Jan. I am sure we will be well looked after.

We all had an enjoyable meal at the Christmas Party at Amici, it was wonderful and the staff were great as always. The service was again excellent and everyone left saying how much they enjoyed the food, the friendly staff and that they would be returning. We always recommend Amici and tell others. Just returned home after a visit to enjoy the Amici experience.
We took along two friends who had not visited before for our firm's Christmas Party. (OK we are a small firm).
The service was again excellent. Our friends left saying how much they enjoyed the food, the friendly staff and that they would be returning. It is always good to recommend the Amici and to convert others to the experience.

As I run a business in the town and have lived in Spalding all my life I tend to visit restaurants away from the town centre for a change of scene, you don't always want to be 'bumping into' your customers on a night out, but after last nights meal at your restaurant I will be making a point of having meals with you again. Gordon and Barbara - 5th November 2009 - I had my first ever lunch at Amici. Wonderful. The service was beyond reproach - Thank You Maddi (Maddy?). The food was as good as our friends had told us it would be. A lovely experience which we will be sure to repaeat. Next visit will be for an evening meal to experience the difference between lunch and evening.

Four of us tried this reataurant for the first time last night night 9th October 2009, needless to say we were not dissapointed. There is a very varied menu as you can see from this website, and all four of us had different starters and mains, all of which were excellent. The homemade desserts were lovely, but be careful as to get this far you need to think what you will have for starters and mains, as stinginess is definately not in evidence here, although it does appear that the table is yours for the night, so you can relax and take your time.The staff were all very curteous , polite, professioal and friendly going about there business.

Thanks from all the Macmillan Fundraisers for hosting a superb evening for us last night.The food was delicious as usual ,and I think you will be getting lots of new customers.We all had a great time and no doubt all the ladies will be looking very svelte in future as we all wear our new spanx pants!!!!You will recognise us all in the little black dresses , scarf tied elegantly around our necks and nice red nails.

Travelled a fair distance to Amici's on the last Saturday night of July for a family celebration as Mum & Dad live nearby in Pinchbeck . . . and what a fantastic evening it was - well worth the journey. We were immediately made to feel welcome and valued as customers by the front of house staff. Nothing was too much trouble and the kitchen delivered the most fantastic food and wine we have eaten in a very long time. Mum & Dad eat there quite often and I can see why, the ambience and feel of this place was exceptional. All in all, it was a very special night and one we will all remember for many years to come. I'm a great believer that eating out should be more than just good food, and a visit to Amicis delivers on so many fronts . . . service, ambience, quality and value.

We came to Amici on Friday evening as returning customers and had a fantastic meal. Yet again, the food, service and ambience in the resturant were 5* ;o).
Decending from an Italian family myself, I have struggled to find good quality , wholesome italian cuisine in this country... lucky for me that now living in Spalding I have to look no further than my doorstep! Amici to me represents fantastic food and service at a very low price ... Even if you doubled the prices...Id still come back !! Many thanks to you all,Michelle x
